## Short answer

Enter a public website URL and generate a quiz from the page content.

Use the URL source when the material is on a public web page.

## Steps

1. Open [QuizRise](https://app.quizrise.com/create/quiz).

2. Choose **From URL**.

3. Enter the **Website URL**.

4. Click **Continue**.

5. On **Configure Quiz**, choose:
   - **Language:** Keep **Auto** or choose a specific language.
   - **Question Types:** Select one or more of multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and true/false.
   - **Question Difficulty:** Choose easy, medium, or hard.
   - **Total Question Count:** Choose how many questions to create. The available range can depend on your plan and extracted content length.

6. Click **Create Quiz**.

QuizRise creates the quiz and starts generating questions from the page content.

## Requirements and limits

- The URL must be publicly accessible.
- The page must not be behind a login.
- If the page cannot be scraped, try another page or copy the page text into the [Text source](/help/en/create-quiz-from-text).
- If you enter a YouTube URL, QuizRise sends you to the [YouTube source](/help/en/create-quiz-from-youtube) instead.
